Default High revs on startup, misfire all cyl, stalls, help

2007 xk coupe 100,000 miles, when starting engine reves to 3000rpm, when put in gear it idles very rough, sometimes stalls when slowing down and pulling into a parking lot. I have replaced coils, sparkplugs, air filter airflow sensor, cleaned throttle body, changed throttle body for another, searched for air leeks, tried to clean egr valve, still no fix. what am I missing? Its 90 miles to the highest priced Jag dealer in Texas. Any help would be greately appreciated.

Codes?

I suspect there is a leak of some form.. or the ecm is acquiring the wrong data and compensating.

You don't need a Jaguar dealer to get the diagnostic codes. Any local independent ASE-Certified mechanic who works on European cars should be able to get the DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and pinpoint the problem. Don't waste time and money by trial-and-error guesswork. Simply Google "independent European car repairs near me", read their reviews and make some calls. Good luck!

Where in Texas are you? I’m in Houston metro area, and have an indie I can recommend. PM if you are interested.

Temperature sensor may be finished. See if an OBD2 reader can access the reading of the engine, and cross reference it to your outside thermometer.

High revs / stall may well be due to air leak(s).

Efficient root cause analysis is best served with the complete list of DTCs and the workshop manual in hand.
A generic reader may not necessarily expose all codes.

Usually what JagV8 said; most of the time high revs and misfire on all 8 is because a pretty large vacuum leak
