Default Hit by reversing van

Hi all

Yesterday a dude in a van reversed slowly into my XK. He wasn’t checking if there was a car behind him.

Visible damage caused are a few scratches above the upper grill.

What other parts can typically get damaged under such circumstances?

Very unfortunate her. A pic would help. Can you post one?

+1 to photo.

Your European specification XK will have PPS (Pedestrian Protection System) fitted. If your vehicle was not moving at the time of impact, this will not have triggered BUT it's possible the deformable Sensor (item 6) behind the Front Bumper has been damaged.

If you can put the vehicle into a Jaguar Dealer for a "no obligation" repair assessment, they will know the possible implications of the accident.

The car is at the dealer for inspection.
