Holy cow
Had the XK almost 2 weeks now but since I bought it for my wife, I haven't really driven it yet. Took it to work today for the first time. Drove in Dynamic mode and had some fun with the paddle shifters off the line from a traffic light. Holy crap. Wow.... Just wow. Haven't smiled like that in a car in a looong time.
Yes, it is a strong car!
Don't forget to put the Drive selector into S mode. This also adds to the experience.
Try this also, get to a stop, have it set with Dynamic mode on and S drive selected, leave the car in gear and rest it by pulling up the E-Brake. It releases automatically when you engage throttle so it doesn't hurt anything, the dealer showed me this when I bought the car. Don't manually release the brake, when ready punch the throttle and GO.

Well, the manual says with traction control off you get more traction (and less stability). Just make sure you turn it completely off by holding it down for 15 seconds.
Yes, you have two levels of traction control disable, the initial hold and release and then the full off with a long press.
For an XKRS you had better be a very good driver to rip around after a long press!!!

Yea, I think this will be my default when I drive it. My wife is the main driver and she said she wants no part of the paddle shifting (she wanted it for it's stunning looks, which is fine too
) but when I showed her the power it had, she was exhilarated as well.
Disclaimer: Sorry if I'm acting like a giddy school girl here. I mostly ride a motorcycle and a GMC Yukon. I've had a few 70s muscle cars and my last "recent" sports car was a 1986 mustang GT that I bought new and sold a few years ago. So this car is a real treat to say the least.

You aren't the first and you won't be the last, I had a thread just like this a while ago:
