Default How do I remove driver seat?

I dropped a very important key that is now stuck somewhere between the right side of the driver seat and the center tunnel, deep where I can't see it. I can't get at it from the below the front or back of the seat, I'll have to remove the seat. Can anyone tell me the tools I need, and give me a general idea of where/what I need to unscrew or unfasten? Thanks in advance!

The seats are bolted to the floor on two rails. Each rail has a front and rear bolt. You need to move the seat back to expose the front bolts and undo them. Then move the seats forward to release the back bolts. The wire harnesses attach under the seat. To retrieve your key you shouldn't need to remove the seat. just lift t up so you can feel around to find the key. No need to release the wire harnesses. Once you find your key reinstall the bolts. I looked for the section in the workshop manual to find seat section but could not quickly locate it. I'll try again later. However, if you look at the bolts mentioned above you should have no problem figuring out the proper tools required. Good luck.

You may want to try a magnet attached to stick to try to retrieve it.

Thanks guys, success. The only hard part was I had to go to an auto parts shop to get the right torx sockets. Why don't the car companies just use the standard hex nuts and bolts?
