How hot do they get ?
My 2010 Convert sat out in the full son from 10AM to 3:00 PM with the top down., Temp was 79 degrees.
Got in and the chrome shifting knob was literally to hot to touch. Went and got a temp. gauge to measure the heat.
Knob was 137 degrees, the black surround was 157.
Last time I'll do that.

I do that all the time in the High Desert, just not usually for that long. I do however fold my front seats forward. Stuff still gets hot, but at least I can sit. It'd be nice if my wind deflector folded forward more, it'd also help. Maybe I'll modify that to work.
I used to have an XK8 roadster for a short while and I ordered one of these to only the inside of the cabin without having to raise the top. I simply pulled the cover from behind the front seats and pulled it over the A pillars and held it down with the windshield wipers. Kept lots of dirt from settling inside the car too.
