At 75 I am definitely a "senior" but very new to this Jag Forum.

Airdrie is in Alberta Canada; 10 minutes outside Calgary. not sure how I became senior so soon on this site .... only 57....

Wow, I never knew Calgary was that close to Glasgow. It must be because (the original) Airdrie is only 12 miles from Glasgow in Scotland.

I have my 2010 Jaguar programmed with one of my home's Genie garage door openers, along with my 2001 Lexus LS430. However with my 2nd home's Genie garage door opener, which has my 2017 Infiniti QX50 programmed, I am unable to program the 2010 Jaguar without messing up the setting for the QX50. I tried numerous times and finally gave up without being able to program my Jaguar with the QX50. I have no idea why it works with my 2001 Lexus and not the new Infiniti. Anyone have any ideas?

Last fall I needed to drop my 1999 Lexus and add my 2014 Lexus and my wife’s 2016 Mazda while keeping my 2007 XK on my Genie opener. I remember going round and round with lots of WTF? moments.
I think it was a small piece of text in the Genie doc that finally got things working (wish could recall what that was). I think one issue I had was holding the ‘learn’ button on the opener too long, wiping out the previously programmed vehicles.

I'm telling ya, if you get a Universal Hand Held 3-button remote and start from scratch, you CAN program every vehicle (three anyway) you have using those three buttons.
I've done it, several times..... AFTER I had problems with one car blanking another.

Cee Jay, The Linear opener has a 3 button hand held remote and that is the one I have been trying to use because that is the garage I want to keep the Jag XK. No luck. I put in a call to my garage door guy of 20+ years and asked for a converter to accept the signal from the Jag HomeLink.

Your garage door guy should be able to program the Homelink. That's what I ended up doing with my 13.

Start from scratch, as in blank every vehicle, every opener and every remote. Openers can only accept a certain number of remotes at a time. Cars need to learn which architecture to use.
Yes, some older openers are unable to match. Older, as in pre-1994, so 24+ years old which are towards the end of their life anyway.

To Bocatrip (what does that stand for?): My situation is VERY like yours. First I also have a Lexus SC430 - a 2006 - and had no problem programming all 3 buttons on that car's HomeLink to 3 different garage doors with 3 different make motors. Second, I also have a second home with an older - 2002-3 - garage door opener. My new (to me this year but it is an '15) Jag XK programmed immediately to that opener. That house has a double garage with a single door and opener. The problem showed up at the house with double garage and double single doors so 2 motors, a relatively new Linear and brand new Lift Master, neither of which would program to the Jag's HomeLink. I don't want to erase or clear all 3 buttons in the Jag because that will erase the 1 that has my other house garage door remote.
I may have to resort to that to get the Linear opener to accept the Jag's HomeLink. Then just reprogram the 2nd house's opener when I take the car back there. But it shouldn't make any difference where or what brand the garage door motors are. The Jag's HomeLink should accept any motor anywhere. What I want to see now before I erase or clear all of the Jag's HomeLink buttons is how much one - well 2 as I need both - of those converters cost to buy and have installed.

To Ralphwg: Good suggestion to ask my garage door guy to see if he can program the Jag to both the Linear and Lift Master openers. He sold and installed both, the Lift Master about 4 months ago.

The repeaters/converters cost about $25 each and are pretty much plug and play. They plug into an outlet in the garage and are easy to set up.
