IM thinking of changing the front bumper on my 2008 xkr to one from from a 2010 xkr. IF I CAN FIND ONE ?. and notice the 2011-- 2015 show as being different .
I know the differance on the xkr.s is compleatly differant, Bumper- fenders lights etc.
But what is different on the 2010/15 Bumper etc. Thanks for any info. Bernie.

 

If I understand your question, for the MY10 and 11 (i.e. the first years where they used the 5.0 SC) the bumper changed so that it had the vertical vents but retained the previous headlight shape. I think it would be likely that you could put the MY10/11 bumper on a MY09 and previous car, but I dont know for sure. MY12 and onward changed the headlight shape as well which means that the front quarter panels would be different, though I dont know whether the bonnet changed.

 

That was my thinking that the headlights would be the same as the XK,S which has you say would mean the fenders / light / bumper would be diferent. Thanks. Bernie.
