Yes, I had some made. It took nearly a year for the guy to make them as he was a home machinist, was doing it for the cost of materials, and was doing them when time allowed. Most leaked and some didn't fit, so I said **** it and just got the OEM lines. I'm now firmly embedded in the camp of "if the OEM part worked this long, it'll work that long again when replaced with OEM."

I had an Import Indie do my lines a couple years ago, and swap all the coolant for Evans Waterless so I have zero pressure. Temps are like two degrees higher, but it doesn't really matter much. I'd LIKE to have them lower, but that'd be a thermostat change and a fan reprogram. Is your EuroToys tune still up to snuff?

 

Been well. You? I don't have the 80 any more; I replaced it with a Sequoia that wheels about 80% as good and drives about 200% better on road. Still have the Jag, but got rid of Conni's. That thing was a real pain in the *** so when the warranty was up, out the door it went. No issues with mine, other than the TPMS going off randomly like it's done since I got the car. I wish I could turn it off, but can't justify the cost to buy the Mongoose and whatever else I'd need just to do that one thing. The ET tune is, eh... a tune. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I just have a gut feeling that it's towards the bottom of the barrel compared to what else is out there. At some point, I'd like to try the VAP tune, but we have other irons in the fire right now, such as...

 

I've got the SDD setup, if'n you want to use it. Let me know. You do seem to be ... preoccupied at the moment.

 

That would be killer. I've a friend locally with a '15 XF-RS that has some goofy stuff going on with his door locks if you wouldn't mind him having a look at it with the SDD as well? My schedule is currently jammed for the time being, but I'll reach out when I have a minute to breathe.

 

Other than vacations for the next I think four months, I have three weeks per each to do whatever, all day long, every day.
