I may have found my next "XKR"
The Aston Martin umbrella is almost $500... The pen for the center console is expensive too. I found the same pen without the AM etching for $40... How many cars come with a built in pen?

Then I would CAREFULLY drive it until the tread was gone, which would HOPEFULLY be far enough to get to the nearest tire shop, then have them pried off, tossed in the trash and replaced with ANYTHING else.

I had a Dunlop blowout on me at 75 mph on the PA turnpike in the middle of nowhere (Donegal area) at 10:30PM... To the tire's credit, all I heard was a bang! and the Lotus didn't behave any differently. Granted, when I pulled over, it was flat as a pancake.
