Why? Just because it's inexpensive? If you liked the Honda S2000, read this: https://carbuzz.com/reviews/2019-maz...-and-more-revs

I don't want to own one, but having driven plenty of them, and technically one from each generation, they are fun little cars to throw around. They aren't oozing masculinity by any means but they are fun if you come in with the right expectations.

Yesterday as I was enjoying my afternoon walk and came across a middle aged gentlemen in throes of mid life crisis parking one outside a boxing gym. The car was lowered, I could hear exhaust mods, it had black rims and staggered wheels.

Despite all that effort, it still DID NOT achieve an image of masculinity.

That $180K+ will buy you 2-3 F-types of the same vintage.

.... but I don't LIKE F-Types that much. They are OK, but I was not super impressed with the ones I test drove. Besides, I see at least one F-Type per week around here, and absolutely zero Vanquishes.

With all that done it has the masculinity of a pomeranian with a studded collar. Adorable but not really the look they wanted lol.

I did date a guy who had an S2000 briefly and his friends pointed out that despite wearing a dress I wore the car related pants in the relationship with my XKR.

Hi Jeremy,

Yeah, never been too keen on a car manufacturer(in this case now a coach maker) that doesn't make their own engines, especially a high-end exotica.

Happy Tuesday,

Dave
