Default Injector tick driving me crazy

Hi all, oes anyone else get this, 2012 5.0 na, I have a ticking noise at idle prob injectors, but, it just seems more audible as it bounces off parked cars etc when cruising around, I realise that's just acoustics but I just never noticed it before, had the car 2 years, well looked after etc. Had it to a specialist they just popped the bonnet and listened and said was normal but I swear with windows down n driving down streets it sounds louder and really annoying. Anyone else experienced this? Anything I can check simply? Thanks all!

If your 5.0L XK is running fine and you don't have a CEL, turn up the volume on your music and forget about that high pressure fuel pump noise. It's normal.

Also check that you have your under tray & the foam bits that cover the injectors/coil packs. Would help with the noise a fair bit if they're not there. The under tray itself has a decent amount of padding on it on the 5.0.
