Default inner tie rod torque

Had a look through the service manual pdf and I cannot find anything about the inner tie rod torque setting to the power steering rack.

I am replacing both inner tie rods and the outer tie rod ends/balljoint

In the manual there is info on the tie rod ends:

Thats all good but I cannot for the life of me find anything about the inner tie rod to the steering rack torque requirements.

Anyone know what it is?

Thanks

I don't think the lock nut really needs a torque setting - a good swing on the wrench should be good enough - that's why they didn't give a torque setting.

Right. You count the turns to put the tie rod back on, equaling the removal, and that should bring the new one into the proper position next to the lock nut. The tie rod can’t unscrew once the ball joint end is attached, so the locknut doesn’t need to be ‘cranked’ up to the tie rod end.

But… in my workshop manual, all suspension and steering locking nuts are torqued to 40 lb ft.
Cheers!
