Default Interior drivers door handle fault?

When I start driving the passenger door locks as it’s supposed to but the driver’s door handle doesn’t. If I push it into the lock position it easily locks. Is this a security setting or is the locking mechanism faulty?

I had exactly that problem. My local specialist changed the locking mechanism, which solved it.

Funnily enough, mine also does that. But I never had someone on the outside to test and see if it indeed was locking the drivers door or if it was being weird. Could be worth a go?

I had the same problem. I worked the handle to lock- unlock about 10 times and it corrected itself. It was still working fine when I sold the car 2 years later.
