How about this kind of wood: bamboo

I really like that texture of the bamboo but the color would be too light against a dark interior. If it came in a dark finish then I would consider something like that. I'm not impressed with Jaguar's implementation of the piano black in the XKR.

I wasn't taking chances with the airbag, my luck I end up with a broken nose and 650 bill for an airbag.

All the pieces except the center console come off easy. The parts around the vents are silver on all the cars so I left that alone and its a nice contrast with the aluminum paddles.

This color combo with the Bamboo is totally awesome and the best I have ever seen. This combo would look great in my Jaguar.

It's the easiest one to replace (this is my RHD):

The tabs are well clear of the pyrotechnics.

Wow, looks great. Got to say, I haven't seen a wood trim I did not like.

These are awesome interiors. The best I've seen. Startech does a great job with their custom exteriors and interiors.

If I could find a car like these I would sell my 2009 XKR Portfolio Convertible in an instant.
