Hi all,
I now have a very intermittent (once every 2-3 weeks) display screen.on my 2007 XKR vert.
All I get is the logo showing. No way to use the radio, cd, and all controls that normally appear on the screen.
Turn the car off and next day everything works.
Should this appear as an error? on OID?
Attached is pic. of display when problem appears.

All that appears when glitching.

 

Have you verified the health of the vehicle’s battery? Voltage issues are usually the primary cause of electrics glitches. Could be an earth point, could be a MOST issue or could the the TSD failing.

The battery is @ 2 years "new". Previous owner replaced it right before I purchased. the car.
But, either way, no I have yet to check it. I will do that shortly.

 

Age doesn’t mean much, so do test the battery first. There’s many threads here about batteries, MOST issues and TSD issues which’ll answer just about any question you may have.

 

If your phone bluetooth modules is dying this will result in the problem you have,
the bluetooth module needs to be bypassed or the power unplugged.
