The information is presented on a CD (compact disc) and was found on eBay for a total of $11.99 which included the disc and shipping from UK. Current price today is $6.03 USD + shipping as of July 16, 2013....

The disc has 4000 pages of every detail of the XKR. It is extremely comprehensive.

If you ever had any questions about your 2006 to 2012 XKR and wanted to look at detailed diagrams of every component then this disc should be part of your owners manuals and books. It is an unbelievable value. It took about 12 days to get shipped via Royal Mail service. It is a must for any Jaguar 2006 to 2012 XKR owner.

Bit confused - it says 2006-2012, then it only mentions the 4.2 engine in the description. Does it cover the 5.0 models too?

 

I would suggest that you use the eBay link to the item, and then write directly to the seller. I have not gone thru the 4000 pages, but do see that the 4.2 Litre engine is covered in extreme detail.

The seller Paul can guide you in the right direction for the 5.0 Litre engine. He was very good in answering questions and communicating with me when I first made inquiries to him for the specific manual as shown above.

I have the 2009 4.2 L SC engined so it works perfectly for me.

 

Or you could save the 12 day wait and buy from the same place that EBAY seller did

It's comprehensive but more pages than what I had told Jagtoes.

I haven't had a need to refer to the CD for some time, but 4000 pages is a bunch. It's a great deal and for the price it less than a 6 pack of beer or a cheap bottle of Mex-Tex Tequila.

 

I bought a lot of manuals from Jagdocs. They are always there to help you and will do what they can to help get you the documentation you need. Their service can't be matched by a CD.

 

I opted for the cd as I wanted a hard copy just in case. ok so I'm a little ****.

 

No need to give people money for something like this. It's a bit unethical on the basis that it is a nicked manual.
