Watched UK Top Gear tonight with JC driving a V6 F-Type. I noticed that it had the carbon fibre spoke wheels and he said it had 370bhp so I am guessing it was the V6S.

Likes:

Performance
Chassis
Interior
Noise.. oh, he LOVED the noise.
Overall feel. He likened many other cars to "driving a laptop".

Dislikes:

The spare wheel just looks dumped in the boot. Yeah, it looked pretty naff.
The ride, way too firm in his opinion. A Euro spec issue?
The price. On this one I tend to agree with him. I also find the price of the F-Type "ambitious", to put it politely.

No Stig with a power lap, sad to say.

 

Yeah what was up with that?

 

He was digging the car over all and was digging Jaguar in general. Very complimentary to the marque.

 

I have BBC America and searched the upcoming Top Gear shows. Couldn't find anything on the F-Type. Does anyone here know if/when they will re-broadcast this episode?

As long as you drive fast and don't need to bring things with you the car seems perfect :=)
