Default Just got my window sticker

Well the dealer finally contacted the PO and got the original window sticker for my car. It is in new condition and still on it's backer (never stuck on window) . I'll go get it laminated next week just to keep it in new condition and hope the fold flattens out OK. Sticker price with options was $112,000 . I just wanted the history for posterity. I now need to get the latest service readout from either the dealer or from the dealer I visited yesterday.

Jagtoes;

Congratulations.

I doubt that an outside Jaguar dealer (other than who serviced the car originally) will have access to any service records under their computer system.

I have tried to scure the service records done by West Palm Beach Jaguar on my 2009. The service manager and Allen the Jag Tech Writer acknowledged the service appointments when making a personal phone call to them, but WPB Jaguar "would not" release the service records to me with the previous owners name listed or attached.

When the XKR was delivered to NM and taken to TX for service, Garcia Jaguar did not have access to any of my service records. I was told that Jaguar dealers computer service records are NOT linked to a main frame service that stores service records from outside Jaguar dealerships.

It will be most interesting to see if you can retrieve the service records either from the original Jaguar servicing dealership or an outside Jag dealer.

Keep us posted on this one.

Aw, that's neat!

It'd be neat if Jag did something like that. Rolls-Royce/Bentley has the majority of the original build/order sheets for everything made in the last 80 years or so. It's kinda fun to see all that stuff.

Have my original window sticker as well, along with every receipt from the previous original owner.

It's a piece of mind to know for sure how your car came from the factory.

That information is not only good for the present owner, but also very advantagous for future re-sale of the vehicle. Good job Moses.

My original sticker came with the vehicle paper work. No Jaguar dealers are not linked to each other. All the dealer really has to do is redact the personal info on the paperwork anf give it to you. Maybe a try emailing Jag usa give them your vin and request the search and coppies. I know from past dealings with them on an issue, they have access. Worth the try. welcome, as is written, it's good to be bad!

British Car Day is next weekend. If I am not too jet lagged (get in the day before), I'll show the XK and maybe displaying the window sticker would be cool?
