Default Just turned 2000

Well yesterday after 3 months of ownership I just turned 2000 miles of driving. purchased the car at 6600 miles and during our Sunday outing it turned 8600 miles. Now considering my previous fun car only saw a little over 2000 miles in a year this is a different milestone. I see my driving mind set has changed and I now don't hesitate to jump in and take this car out . I don't even care if rain is predicted . It's all about the drive now and the fun of top down driving. We've got tons of back country roads here and it seems we never run out of new ones. I'll be taking a 4 hour trip later this month so that will be a different experience as we will be on major highways most of the time. Enjoy the ride.

I've put close to 10,000 miles on my XKR since I purchased it a year ago. I practically ignored my XJL. I'm driving them equally now. As fun as the XKR is to drive, when I get into the XJL I'm just as happy! Go Jaguar!! They're coming back the way Audi did 10 years ago!

Congradulations on your mileage. Your driving it.

I just added 2200 miles on my XKR since May 30th of 2013. I own a garage Queen. My 2009 now has 15,969 miles on her. First offer made for $48,000 will take the car. Photos below in my signature.

Richzak......You are selling your car already? I remember when you first purchased it. I hope it takes you forever to sell your car so that you will continue to spend time on this forum giving the members a ton of valuable information! Don't sell your car.

I as well have decided to ignore the mileage. I just leave the MPG display up on the screen and don't look at the milage. These cars a way too much fun to drive even if its just to the gas station!

I purchased my 2010 XK with 4,825 miles. 8 months later I now have 7,100 miles. It's my 2nd car which I drive occasionally but thoroughly enjoy each time I'm in it.

Boca:

The Jaguar XKR Portfolio Edition is not officially for sale. However if someone would offer me $48,000 for the car I would take it. Still love the car, get tons of lookers and lots of compliments. I am always looking for the next deal. Car has run flawlessly and I have not put any money into it for any mechancial related problems. So far after one year, expense to the Jaguar dealership has been $130.00 for oil & filter change and overall inspection.

But then again the car only has 16,000 miles.
