Default K&N filter part number

Hi does anyone know the part number for a K&N air filter for a 2007 XK? All the car stores don,t list one and there is conflicting info on the web. If I can't get one in the US I have relatives coming over from the UK who could bring one. Also has anyone used ceramic brake pads on standard rotors to cut down on the dust thinking of replacing my Pads with EBC pads but don't want to change the rotors.

.....
I cleared this post due to incorrect information I provided.
K&N does not make a replacement engine filter for a base XK.

I did on my VDP. Went with new OEM rotors and Akebono ceramic and it worked out well. Not as much inital grip as straight OEM, but go final braking and way less dust. I plan to change the pads on XK as soon. Still not sure as you are on which ones to buy. Akebono only makes a rear.

Thanks guys I will try that part number. Will look at EBC red pads and see if I can get them brought over from the UK as they seem to be cheaper.

Beware. The K&N air filter 33-2190 does not fit the 2007 XK, or any 2007+ XK/XKR.

The 33-2190 fits the XK8; and K&N mistakenly lists this filter when you search for a 2007 XK filter. Seems that K&N thinks the 07 was designated as an XK8 and XK

I will see what i can find out about this.... I just email the k&n tech folks with your complaint to see what they say... I will also order one tonight (hoping yours was a mispackage product) and RMA it if i have to.

Vince
question: was the xk8 and the xk in production at the same tme for 2007? Or did the arrival of one terminate the other?(sorry, i have no idea if they came from the same plant.)

CONFIRMED: . . K&N DOES NOT make a filter for the 2007 -2009 series XK.

Yep found out that that part number does not fit so have a 2190 sitting in my Garage. K&N do not do a filter for the XK.

I have switched to ceramic brakes on other cars without any noticeable problems.
