Let's hit that horse one more time!
Missing plastic connectors says someone was really sloppy. What else was done badly? Seems like a lot of rust color in upper shock mount areas. It's hard to tell for sure but one of the fender/frame connects looks off. Maybe damaged bolt (top sheared off) and tweaked sheet metal.
I spent a few hours looking over engine compartments on BAT, Cars.com etc. Good catch!
2012 coupe:

2013 vert:
Well the saga continues.
Drove a 13 w.70,000 miles, absolutely gorgeous black with dark brown interior. Texas Car. It needed tires very badly. It drove well but very rough ride. Not sure I can attribute all to the tires, (dealer said they were within spec....nah).
Handled great, drove straight, good brakes. Would the suspension/shocks be in need of upgrade/replacement at 70k??
As for new tires......would all seasons be a bad idea vs say the P-Zero or Conti's?

But...OMG, I LOVE that color!

Those Conti's would be my choice as well. Not too aggressive.
I had the Dunlop’s installed once, many years ago now…. and had them promptly removed.
Yes, the ride was harsh and without grip.
It never hurts to change a suspension…. but “need a new one” on a mere 70k?? Not to sure about that.
Cheers

If I may keep this thread going.
Drove another 2013. Had extensive service history which was heartening. Until I read through the $7,000 invoice. Apparently, the engine overheated, (T-stat??), to the point that it fried all of the plastic and rubber under the hood. Happened about 38,000 miles ago. Dealer did all the work, didn't say if under warranty but I'm glad to see it was a Jaguar dealer rather than an indy.
Car has 66,000 on it, pretty clean...but it too needs tires!!..
Gotta assume if they did it wrong back then it would have soiled the sheets by now.
I'm thinking not a deal killer for me.....$22k.....
Any thoughts on that massive melt down going forward?
