Default Locking by itself

The '09 XK started doing something odd. As the thread title says, its started locking itself. I'll press the unlock button and it unlocks as normal, but then within about 45 seconds, it locks itself.
I always keep it locked when sitting in the garage, and it's always on a Ctek tender. The battery was new about 3 years ago so it should be fine. It just started doing this two days ago. Any ideas as to the new behavior?

Footnote: We took it on a 3 day trip last week and stayed at a 200 year old Inn that is supposedly haunted...........do you think a ghost attached itself to the car?

If you don't open a door within 40 sec after unlocking, it will relock the auto

Thanks. But it's never done this before. I used to be able to leave it unlocked, and it would stay unlocked. I think this is something new.

UPDATE: I went out to the garage and unlocked it, opened the door, then closed it without locking it. It remained unlocked. Then when I locked it, unlocked it, and didn't open the door, it locked itself again.
I suppose it's possible in the 4 years I've had it, that I've just never unlocked it without opening the door, but it seems unlikely..........but I will defer to your expertise.

Def normal to re-lock itself after an unlock without a door opening. If you want it unlocked, just open and close the door, it should prevent it from re-locking.

I don't think you can enable/disable this outside of SDD, probably though customization options.
