Default Looking for 20-25mm lower & uprated linear springs 2007 & up? I found a source!

In my quest for springs to lower my car not as aggressively as H&R and others, I have located a manufacturer in the UK who has springs in 20, 25 & 30mm drops from new with uprated 10-15%. Cost is around $470 + shipping.

Keep in mind if your car is not new & depending on age, the factory springs may have a bit of sag to them and replacing the springs may actually only drop the car 10-20mm with these springs.

Another important specification with these springs is all 4 are linear (not progressive rears like H&R, Mina, and others). I understand the difference between the 2 types but not certain what the net result is with these cars, anyone know?

Default Pulley

I actually got my pulley from them, good customer service and the shipping was fast.

They had told me their springs are manufactured by the same factory that makes the springs for paramount performance, another plus.

I know this is a very old topic, but i was faced with a similar search and one member from the Jaguar X Type group recommended a company called Eibach, a set of 4 coils cost just under £118.

They can be found here.... https://www.eibachshop.co.uk/eibach-...B#.XEZjHlyeS01

Came across this thread looking for an Eibach native part number that is equivalent to the Spires eibach spring. @jomac_uk , are you saying that the spring for the 540i works on the Jaguar XK? I find that hard to believe...

I can't find anything from Eibach (online at least) that specifically calls out compatibility with the X150. I will call them this week to see if they have any additional information.

Spires has them custom made by Eibach, you won't find them off the shelf.

I figured as much... Was mostly hoping I could get the springs sourced from somewhere in the US instead of having to ship from overseas. They could be manufactured by an eibach facility overseas anyways, which wouldn't help me. I'll call them today and report back what I find out.

How about coilovers with Swift springs? Much better than Eibach and available in the US.

@jahummer, I've been reading through a lot of your posts, actually. You've done quite a bit of inspiring work to your car.

I assume you're referring to the BC Racing ZX-01 DS series coilover set you installed?

If so, I'm considering it... it's an expensive option, but would do better to ensure even tire wear and correct scrub radius. I do not want to sacrifice performance for the sake of looks. Coming from some amateur autocross experience with SCCA, the car is an underwhelming handler, in my opinion. It's unfortunate that the sway bars are so flimsy in these vehicles. I think that many of the handling issues could be solved with a 3/4" sway bar, as discussed elsewhere in the forum... but that's a conversation that's already been had.
