User "withnail" put together a web site to help track Jag related acutions.

The original thread is in the For Sale section and the link is:

http://www.jaguarauctionwatch.com/

Hope that helps.

Not sure if there is anything in general to look for in the '07s but possibly you can try to get a service history of the car before you purchase. I was able to do get a service history from the dealer before purchasing the SL65.

I see you're in my neck of the woods....good luck!

XKR's are pretty much optioned out. there are a few extras like adaptive cruise control and 19 or 20" wheels but not much more. Color and miles/condition of the car is obviously important.
I just traded my 2003 XKR for a 2008 XKR. My biggest thing was warranty....I decided on a late purchased 2008 with "certified pre-owned" so I have almost 4 and a half years of warranty on the car. As a this is my fifth jaguar i can say two things for sure. I LOVE jags and you NEED a good warranty. it may be time to think about a 2008 or even 2009 if you can afford it and definately get it "certified"!!
PS I have been a strickly black car kinda guy but ended up with a Salsa Red XKR with black top and interior mostly because of the warranty issues ( and the 20' wheels LOL) but have been LOVING the RED Ha

Thank you for heads up. I pulled the trigger today and bought liquid Silver XKR 2007 convertible. 13000 on the clock and extended factory warranty.
I feel like little boy with a new toy. Now I have two kitty's feed and love.

VERY NICE!! I know you'll LOVE it.

Consider a wind deflector if it didn'y come with one its worth it.

I had wind deflector on my WS6 Firebird. It did help, but the cost for on for the Jag is outrageous. I will put that on my want list.

Funny, you should say that! I said the same thing three years ago. My friend Tim sold Jaguars at Patrick Jaguar in Naperville,IL. Their was one on the showroom floor silver XKR convertible. I said "looks Good I wish I could afford one....... Well my friend fairy tales do come true. Dreams come true Here's the proof.

Default Used 2007 XK

Yeah, they're right. Most of them already have a lot on them. I got mine last month and color was the thing. Got a white with a blue top, 20 inch top of the line wheels. Couldn't be happier.

Georgekale,
You have a beautiful car there, congratulations! I would be very happy to own something like that. What size are those wheels? Is that a stock grill? Where did you find it?

I should not have started looking in the 2007+ XKR folder here on the forum, I thought I was going to be happy enough searching for a 2006 XK8 conv until I see pictures like this. Of course stepping up to an '07 is about twice the cost of an 06. Something like $20K to $40K+. Anyone have any ideas on where to find one for less? I've looked around on eBay and cars.com and even the local jag dealer.

I'd have to consider selling my $20K Harley to get into an '07, don't know if I could handle that.
