Default Looking for light drop on 2012 XK-R. Recommendations?

Like the title says, I'm looking for something around 1 inch and under. Light drop to avoid scrapes. I live in the Orlando area and we have water runoff/drain ways everywhere, especially at the exit of every single home and commercial complex.

I know there are H&Rs, but they drop 1.3. Which may be just a tad much. Velocity AP makes a kit that's 0.9 up front, but only for F-Types. What other brands offer a drop for X150 XKRs?

Spires sells an Eibach custom spring that drops it about 3/4 inch. I have them on my 2007 XK and I love them.

The Spires website says it's for NA motors only on 2010+ models?

Is that correct?

I would contact Matt at 011 44 7808 273213.

He is very knowledgeable on our cars.

Yeah, shot them an email a few hours ago. Hoping it's just a typo on the site. Let's see what happens!

I think it is 10-15mm lower but not sure if it is just because of different springs or other differences in the suspension.

Matt @ Spires would be the right person to speak with regarding springs. On the 4.2 mine dropped about 3/4" with his Eibachs.

Ah yeah I found the specs. XKR-S (and XKR-75 & Dynamics Pack) is 10mm lower than a standard XKR.

Reason I asked is there is an eBay seller in Germany who has a full set of XKR-S coilovers that were removed from a new car, but I think shipping them might be a problem, and he's asking a fair bit for them too...

Original Jaguar XKR-S Chassis Suspension strut XKR Shock absorber Spring | eBay

They are CVD shocks so only work with 2010MY onward...

Default CVD shocks

I have a set of CVD shocks front and rear that were sent to me in error because they only fit 2010+ XK. If you are interested make me an offer via email.

Thanks for all the help, gang. Spoke to Matt, and he said they will fit, but the spring rates would remain similar to OEM and so they don't advise it.

Elindo & Cambo: Are all 2010+ XKRs compatible with variable suspensions? Was just looking for some clarity on them.

Bump. Anybody else have suggestions on springs? I guess if I have no choice, I'll consider a 1 inch drop.

The 4.2L cars came with or without CATS. The CATS in the 4.2L is an on/off system.

The CATS in the 5.0L cars is Continuously Variable. As far as I know all 5.0L XK/XKR have CATS, but you can confirm this by checking the tops of your front shocks, if they have wires coming out of them = CATS.
