Default Loose leather on driver's bottom cushion

I've noticed on a number of XKs showing the leather on the bottom cushion on the driver's side seems to be loose and showing some uneven areas. It appears as if it's not tight like the rest of the seat. I see it on the same panel (middle bottom) on different XKs 2010+. (It might be earlier models too but I haven't looked) Does anyone know what causes this and if there is a fix? Is it the leather stretching or an issue with the cushion underneath? Thanks all.

I'm sure other owners have seen this as well as I've noticed it on quite a few cars.

Just purchased 2010 xk coupe silver/charcoal like yours bocatrip. Driver's seat also has some looser leather in the panel were you sit on. Noticed it in other 2010's I was shopping for also, not there in my 2009.

Bobdr1 Congrats and good luck with your new ride! I first saw pictures of my seat in the pictures before I purchased my car and my car has 5,000 miles. I don't even think about it now. Some things or I should say more things I need to overlook or I will drive myself crazy. It's no big deal.
