Never thought I would be posting this but somehow over the past few days both key fobs have mysteriously disappeared from the dresser valet tray. Obviously this is done through SDD and I know how to program additional fobs but never have done a complete replacement without the originals. Is it easy? Or is this a rhetorical post...

 

Programming new fobs for a 2010 XK using IDS 135 was straight forward, step-by-step, except the final verification step.
The system did not recognize the newly programmed fob, so cleared the memory.
The work-around was to terminate the programming prior to the verification check-step.
Let us know if you experienced a similar glitch.
