Those Cheap eBay Key Fob Remotes...
For anyone who has seen these replacement remote button sections you can swap out while keeping your key and transponder, and if you are curious if they'll work. I ordered one of these:
New Replacement Car Remote Keyless Entry Fob Flip Key for Jaguar NHVWB1U241 | eBay
It isn't exactly like the original, buttons feel slightly different, and the fit isn't factory perfect (but still very good). I had no trouble programming it with the door open/flash stalk method outlined in the "How To links" sticky so you don't need IDS/SDD to program it.
All in all, not bad for 20 bucks.

Yes, the key fob splits into two separate pieces, one with your existing key and transponder, and the other with four lock/unlock buttons. This replaces only the button section and snaps into the section with your key/transponder.

Tibbe keys are much more popular in the UK, and I found a UK supplier that will supply replacement blanks or blanks cut to your specification. Look at this thread for information on suppliers that has been used by several forum members with good success https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...onders-134996/
