Does anyone know how or if its even possible to program a new key fob............I bought a new key and fob complete i really dont need the key i just need to program the new fobs

 

I know on my 2006 str I had to use ids/sdd to program them....really simple if you have the system...I do not think there is a way to do it by flicking the light switch or cycling the key...I tried them all before getting my sdd set up

 

+1 you need the dealer level equipment for the programming. You may be able to find a locksmith that can do it.
