Default Major screw up - disconnected battery cables then shut the trunk

Like the title says. I was in a hurry. I disconnected the battery cables to swap out my touch screen, then shut the trunk. Cables are not connected to the battery, how can I open the trunk?

EDIT: Dying of laughter here. Insert key into keyhole dumbass. How many O's in Stoopid? problem solved.

Just a tip for the future, when you're doing stuff like this, close the latch/lock on the boot with your finger so that the lock is locked with the boot still open, you can then close the lid and it will just sit on the lock, boot still "open" but it puts the light out, and no chance of it locking on you.

Next time when you do the same thing but don't have the key handy, you can apply 12 volts to the jump points; the positive one underneath the very back/left part of the car underneath a rubber boot. It's a pretty big cable, and insulated under the bolt. Then the negative on any handy earth post.

I thought of that as well Cee Jay but not sure what that would have given me since the post only leads to the starter and the battery cables are disconnected?

No, the underneath positive leads to the entire positive system of the vehicle, unless you disconnect the battery, then the battery (of course) won't be connected.

Is the pull cord behind/under the back seats? My Evora had that under the back seats for just this case.

The pull cord is completely inaccessible short of having a 4' rod with hook from the front of the vehicle. The rear seats don't fold down at all, there's electronics behind them anyway. Take it from someone who accidentally left with their valet key, which is fob only and uncut key, then killed the battery and couldn't even jump it.
