Default Make me gag

I dont like auto journalists and I dont like bullshitters.

Today I found out that a 2002 Aston Martin Vanquish was being auctioned off for $ 1.25 Million. Yes, you read that rite, by Golding Auctions.

Why, you ask?? Not cause it was in a James bond movie or owned by Sean Connery.

Cause it was signed by Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley and a bunch of other people no one knows. Some Wishful thinker appraised the car at 1.25 million U.S.

Current bid is $89,000.00

On Monday, I am putting up my 2013 xkr ragtop for auction, with mods, for $750,000. It is a collectible cause it comes with my dirty underwear.

Such a crock of sh*t!!!

(P.S. i am going to post pics of me and my car this weekend,)

SoCalBabe:

I would be honored to sign my name on your car.

Just Google my name and see how much I am worth......perhaps you can get an extra $50.00 at the auction.

It really surprises how people so are gullible to pay such prices for a signature of Micheal Jodan or a Charles Barkley on anything. It's crazy, but this is America.

Jordan has his home for sale in the northern Chicago area. He had it listed for $54 Million, then reduced it to $23 Million, and no one wants it. Who the hell would pay $1.2 million for this car?

I would be more than happy to give you $25,000 if you signed your name on my car.

I came from poland and this sh*t would never fly there.
My fiance flew in tonite and we both had too much too drink.

I already emailed Golding Auctions about my car, for 750,000. If they want to raise the price to $1 million I will throw in a video my fiance made.
Im sure you will take the 25,000 for your signature ???

It wasn't just signed by Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley. It was signed by all 50 Hall of Famers for the 50th anniversary of the Basketball Hall of Fame. By the way, it appears to have sold for a more reasonable $138532.50!

Talk about crock journalism...

What I want to know is how they suggest cleaning it without wiping off the signatures!

I've found the vast majority of auto journalists to be pros. Every now and then a b.s. review or story is published, but rarely from the good mags or papers.

$138k for a dirty car... bonkers

And of course, you can't drive it - imagine if you had a prang and lost half the sigs.

ALmost all auto journalists work for mags that depend on ad revenue for their existence. AUto manufacturers have no problem yanking ad space when given bad reviews. And the major rags are notorious for not trashing a brand or vehicle.

Case in point: All major mags called the Pontiac solstice one of the best cars ever built, when it was introduced.

Now, it is listed as one of the worst cars ever built. (How's it goin for Pontiac today?)
