Default Modified 2010 XKR, thumbs up or down?

Just stumbled upon this eBay listing.. Not sure about the changes to the front... I'm kind of getting a 70's **** star vibe from the moustache where the Jag oval used to be. $25,000 in mods apparently. Thumbs up or down?

I don't like the 'stache. It just doesn't look right. And is that paint damage or just reflections?

Nahhh - if you want an Aston, buy an Aston, don't try & make your Jag look like one. The modified sills: are they trying to make it look like it has side pipes? And the wheels are OTT; they look far too big, and I expect the ride would be pretty hard on those rubber-band tyres.

It's not hideous, but not to my taste.

I saw this listing about a week ago and thought it was tastefully done (and that philhef would really like it). but that it wasn't necessarily an improvement over stock. For owners who want something different and one of a kind, I suppose it would provide that opportunity without having crazy add-ons.

Not crazy about the front end but it looks like it was done well. I like the diffuser, its something different.

Somebody had a shopping spree at Mina. I don't like it at all. The wheels look horribly big, the two tone is not my thing and looks cheap in the end.

Jag got it right the first time... No need to improve unless you want to put a Jaguar designed part on the car, IMO.

I like the diffuser as well, and maybe the red accents on the side vents, but that is absolutely it.

The wheel center cap logo says it all - grade F, especially the rims. Not my taste. The front bumper cover is the automotive equivalent of Julia Roberts getting a nose job. A Pretty Woman, despite her flaws - best left as originally intended.

Thumbs down overall, but I don't hate the rear end. The Aston grill shape does not suit the shape of the headlights at all.

I like it except for the rims- too big and dropped to much!

The car is stunning and love the look.

Custom for sure......however don't like the ultra high mileage.

One owner a plus, location of Scottsdale, AZ a plus which is a high end area.

Photos are very professional.

It will be interesting to see how long it stays listed.

But bottom line, it looks AWESOME and certainly one-of-a-kind.

Hey, if it makes your day, go for it. It certainly gives it a different look. Would I pay $25,000 to have it done to my XKR? Nope! I do like the rear diffuser. The rims look ok but not as nice as the HRE's on MaximA's.

If you try to make a Fiero look like a Ferrari, I don't blame you.... but, no need to make and XKR look anything else. That, in itself, is a turn off for me.

Having said that, I would have issues with the grille being too dense and too plain. The look of the modded car is striking but, I would not dare driving it much with those 22" wheels and rubber-band tires. Besides the predictably harsh ride, rim damage is almost guaranteed.

It would make an interesting conversation pieces in someone's automobile collection but, again, not for me.

The body kit is by Prior Design. You can buy just the rear bumper & diffuser primed for $2400 on eBay. I have been looking at it a long time, just haven't brought myself to the point of spending $3K plus after paint and install.

Very expensive body kit. The nose alone is $2400. I like the look but luke warm on nose. Love the wheels. Would look better in black!

Is that car in Phoenix, AZ? I bought my Jag from a local independent dealer and I recall my salesman suggesting that I go check out their high end shop and I believe it was called Couture Customs.

As far as the car....looks cool. Not where I would put my money but that is just me.
