When I bought my car 3.5 years ago there was a lot of information I could have done with, so thought I'd post this on here.
With all this covid etc floating around my stepson asked me to put together some spec sheets to help him look after the toys of mine he is going to keep should I pop my cloggs - he is already very mechanical, and despite being a massive Corvette nut he thinks he wants to keep my old junk too when old enough to drive and insure it - at least this gives him some options (though I said sell it in 5 years and buy a house with all the money you'll make and a Corvette!)
I put this together based on - my own mechanical preferences (eg. oil at 3000 miles), my own Jaguar experiences after 3.5 years of having this car, and lots of information I have picked up from this and the other forum over the past few months.
Hope it might be of use to someone new to the Jaguar XK - note the supplier links are mainly UK (even with shipping worth considering for those in the US though), supercharge references don't apply to XKs, the cars from 2010 are going to be inherently different (don't know much about them) and the mileage figures will / have been heavily debated - this is just what I settled on. Maybe the format could be used to put one together for the 5 litre cars?
