Default My tire plug and observation

As a start my days of being a track driver stopped a while ago. My style of driving is more of just cruising through the back roads of our local counties. We enjoy both short a long trips to visit friends and family. Now back to the topic at hand . I have 6,000 miles on my rear and 2,000 miles on my front Conti. DWS tires. The handling characteristics are much greater then I need in dry conditions and after driving in yesterdays storms they worked great in the rain. Also I feel the ride both quietness and softness is great considering they are 20's. Last is wear which to the naked eye looks indistinguishable. I'll wait to see what kind of wear these end up giving but for now they look to be very good. So for my personal use and others who drive for fun and comfort these tires seem to meet/exceed that need.

You faked me out!

I was thinking you had a nail in your tire and had to plug the hole...I kept looking for the review of how that held up.

I did get one in my old Dunlops and it was plugged using the standard insert type plug. It didn't work and it was to late to do the plug process from the inside which I understand is the better way to do it. But the Dunlops were pretty worn out at 10K miles so I replaced them with the Conti's.

+1 on the 20" Conti DWS 06 (on my XJ). Reasonable price and no complaints about handing, comfort, noise, balance, wear, or anything else so far. Much better than the OEM Dunlops.
