Is the $199. upgrade from Jaguar to their navigation system in my 2009 XK8 coupe worth the money? Has anyone had experience with this upgrade?

Is Rick's Jag actually an XK and not an XK8? 2009s (also 2007-2015) are just plain old "XK". XK8s are from 1997-2006, and a completely different body style.
Also, what "upgrade" do you speak of? The DVD map upgrade? If yes, and you indeed have an older version, a map upgrade may help. The newest JAGUAR disk is 2013/14, but there is another thread in this forum in which people use the VOLVO map upgrade to at least 2016, of which I just did myself. If you still have the original 2009 map disks, there is undoubtedly several thousands of miles of roads close to you that have changed in the last nine years.
