Default Need advice: XKR 2008 Oil leak

Hi Guys!
Will you give me advice please! I have an little oil leak from under the timing chain cover. Mechanic says to replace timing chain cover gasket. For this action do I need to take out the engine? And do I need to disconnect the supercharTer?
Thanks in advance!

Unless he thoroughly sprayed the engine clean and then ran the engine to locate the leak, I'd treat all suggestions of where the leak is originating with a bit of skepticism.

Oil migrates everywhere on a running and driving car. Get it bone dry first. You can also get à UV oil additive to help find where it is originating
