Default Need a break on garage door opener.

OK I've gone through the search and read about programming the garage door opener and I'm having no luck. I have a Lift Master opener and I have sync'ed it with 2 hand held openers and a key pad opener. I have also sync'ed with my Lexus home link. So far using the roving method I can't seem to get it to sync. I'm pressing the button on the opener , pressing the 1 button on the car hold for 2 sec's and do this 3 times and it still doesn't work. I'm taking a time out now and will go at it on another day. If anyone knows how to break the code please let me know. I'm sure if my 2010 Lexus works then this 2012 XKR will work. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Try this How to Program Homelink

You might have to clear the programming from the previous owner first - holding the two outside buttons until the LED starts to blink.

Eureka I got it. Thanks and the piece that is missing in the Jag OM is step 2 of the homelink instructions. I'm good to go now.

Glad you got it. The Homelink system usually works pretty well but it can be finicky to get set up some times.
