I have been reading posts on the AM radio issue on the board, thanks to everyone for their contributions. I am confused between what seems to be two different part issues.

The first one is:

Do I understand correctly that the problem could be with either unit? This is for a 2007 XK with the premium sound package, 525-watt amplifier.

The AM-FM tuner is in the front infotainment stack, the satellite radio tuner is in the trunk/boot.
