Need help with passenger rear window
Hello jag owners please help me diagnose my rear window issue, I can hear movement but won't go up or down please help, any advise would be greatly appreciated I have an 2007 jaguar XK
Someone will be along, no need to post three different times and places.
Have you done the Reset procedures on the FRONT windows?
Course if you hear stuff, it's probably the regulators. Weird both at the same time though. Search Google as "jaguar forums rear window regulator". You will probably get a hit.

THANKS, I'm new to forum, still figuring it out, yeah it's the passenger rear window, on my 07 xk ,it's a Lil different from my 21 F type, windows, just curious as how to remove regulator, Whoooosa
Hi. I have just had this problem. Managed to get a new regulator, but had a devil of a job removing the old one. My glass was down and the cable had slipped on the windlass. I was unable to get the glass up. You cannot remove the regulator with the glass down, it MUST be up or it won't come out through the tiny access hole. My only solution was to remove the drive motor, worm drive and windlass through the speaker hole. THEN the rest came out upwards. Fitting the new one, with the old glass fitted in the fully up position, then seemed easy.
But what a job! You have to remove so much to get access, and then its all keyhole surgery. The manual is a help, but makes it sound far too easy.
Ask if I can tell you any more.

I've attached a *.pdf I downloaded from this forum. Its about the same job on an earlier XK8, so not accurate for ours. But it gives an idea of what you have to do. The Workshop Manual is accurate for ours.
