Are these sold world wide. I have not seen them in the US yet. I remember right after I bought my 308 I was told to get this special edition book on the 308 series car. I got a copy for $35 at the time and the year I got it they stopped publication. Now it's valued between $300-$500 a copy and mine is sitting in the closet in a vacuum bag. I'll have to check on these at my local B&N.

Check Amazon - looks like they can be pre-ordered in the US.

Nigel Thorley's book on the earlier XK8 model has long been out of print and values of used copies have rocketed so this new one on the XK could be both informative and also a good investment.

That could be why I put "will soon be published" and the publication dates in my original post.

It is interesting that the photo on the cover of the book shows a XK all of the copy in the amazon listing refers to xk8s and xkr's from my 1996 - 2006. Therefore, I'm going to wait until the book comes out and then go see an actual copy before buying. I'm only interested in the book(s) if they deal with XKs and XKRs.
