New owner of a 2007 XK
I picked up the XK yesterday, 2007 with 18,000 miles, beautiful green. Still has the new car leather smell, annual services every year, and then some. It is like new and I can't believe how great it is.
I have a question about blue tooth and the stereo. I have searched the forums and get conflicting info. I Bluetooth the phone in just fine, but is there an easy way to Bluetooth to the audio for the stereo or are we stuck to using cd's and radio? Going to source it only shows cd and radio,

You can get free Sirius free at least 3 mo's if you have satellite radio (contrary to what they will tell you... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR REAL PHONE NUMBER). unless you have the optional ACM installed you cannot stream music, they're are several posts about this if you use the search function your stuck with cds or satellite radio. Also with a 2007 you may want to look into the antenna/periscope delete (use search and look into that also, I did it and love it! Ran @$50)

Congrats! We both have the same car a 2007 XK British Racing Green. If you want to treat yourself to something special, order a shift knob from British Auto Wood: British Autowood > Gearknobs
Here is a pic of mine. The old one screws off and the new one screws right on. Perfect fit and looks amazing. As for the music...do you have an AUX usb port in the glove box? If not, I would have one installed.

Just plug the RCA cables into the AUX input, it works like a charm with my Note 5

There is, if you install the ACM (Audio Control Module). I don’t think it came as standard equipment until 2009, but can be installed in earlier models.
It does require the use of JLR diagnostic software to activate it. Search this forum for ‘ACM’ and you can find more info.

Hi. Nice car! I have the same year and color too with way more miles. So here’s something that I plan on doing which worked well in my Porsche 996. Im ordering a bluetooth module that you can plug into the antenna input. The antenna plug will plug into the module so that you still have Radio. Anyway the module is simply an FM transmitter that you plug in directly to the antenna source. It worked well on my other car with no static since the module is plugged in directly. I have to do brakes first so this project is on the backburner. My current FM transmitter is not bad but its not plugged in directly into the antenna so Im not 100% happy

Hey you guys with your recent 2007 purchase and ownership is killing me. I purchased my 2010 garage queen approximately 4 years ago with less than 5,000 miles and although it was close to half of MSRP at that time... it is probably now close to 50% of that value! Wow how these Jags sink! The 2007 buyers are making out well as you have patiently waited for the basement prices of which you are now getting. Good for you. Well...Unless we sell it doesn't matter and I still love my car for the few times I take it out for a long ride. Not selling anyway.. Enjoy guys!
