Can I get a recommendation for a Jag Indy shop in the San Francisco Bay Area?

You may find some info in your regional section of the forum (access from the main menu).

Agree. Bacchus did the pre sale inspect on my XKR. He went over it w a fine tooth comb. Also let me stand under the car while it was up on the lift to do my own inspect.

British European Motors in Cotati has serviced each of mine since 2005, and other pals before that. Dilligent, experienced, equipped and knowledgable. I was there yesterday, and would mention they are closed May 10 - 20 for vacation.

Great, thanks Doc. Cotati is an easier drive for me. I am picking up my new-to-me XKR the 15th.

Are you a member a Jaguar owner’s club? I would like to join one as well.

Kjeld,
i was a member, and especially enjoyed the National Convention in Santa Barbara a few years back. A friend volunteered to navigate the timed rally event for me the driver. It was throughout the back roads around SBarbara, with some few long stretches. The F type stretched its legs, and we both were grinning at the wondrous roar!

Often in the Forum you'll see activities which may interest you, a NorCal F type rally a few years back ended at a Sonoma winery. Show and shine events on coastal roads, with a refreshment stop en route, or even ones a far distance which might resonate with your interests. You can bring your Jaguar even if another model is being the theme.
