Default No Bad News, Just Good Stuff & A Plug For JagWrangler

I am officially one-month into my XKR ownership, and have put over 2000 miles on the beast. Our 7-day New England Fall Foliage Sojourn in October will now take place in the XKR.... the Audi was not pleased to hear this.
To-date I have
1) Had a new fob programmed. Had an extra hard key so I only needed the fob.
2) Changed the oil and filter.
3) Changed the cabin filter and extracted a rodent nest. No rodent.
4) Ordered that nifty wind deflector.
5) Bought a pair of oblong-pouch-things that fit between the seat and console and are just wide enough to hold a phone and a wallet. Very handy. Have not permanently attached them yet. I constructed a custom "stand" for them to rest on, if they stay put I'll fabricate a nice carpet-matching stand.
6) Ordered a custom Garmin holder that fits on the center-left vent.... it's the perfect location that does not obstruct my view of anything in the car. Garmin power cable runs straight down the console edge, almost hides under console on it's way to the the glove box, and snakes back and into the glove box. With a little more work I will make it nearly disappear. The glove box plug is not hot so Garmin comes on and goes off with the engine.
7) Drove 4 1/2 hours to the Washington DC area to have Steve "Mr JagWrangler" install his top modification and bluetooth adapter. Both work perfectly and Steve is a great guy to talk to. His breadth and depth of knowledge is astounding. He also knows some stuff about Jaguars!
8) Removed the cigarette lighter to a safe place and installed a dual-USB plug. Not crazy about that, but that's the only good spot for iPhone charging. Have to pull it out slightly at the end of the day as it's hot and I've heard rumors about battery drains being bad...... mmmkay.
9) Every time I push that red button my face lights up!

A home visit from an out of State customer. That has to be a first for Steve.

Emphasis on #9! Thanks for the good news!
If they ever open that border... (and if I ever get back) that fall foliage drive is on my books! It is usually an adhoc extended drive as I like to take ferry over Lake Champlain... and the fun in Manchester VT... and that dining room at Mt Washington.. and, and, and.

On both my old '07 XKR and current '10 XKR the power to the cigarette lighter stops as soon as I lock the car.

On number 5, a place to have your phone, I did this cheap (=$0) fix, exactly where the holes go depend on your phone. Mine is just snug, so it doesn't fall out on mountain roads

And yes, it's a Blackberry

Then where does my whiskey sour go? I suppose just hold it in my lap. Hey Scott, was #8 a shout to Mr. Mackey by chance.

Seriously, I don't have a vert and no need for any of Jag Wrangler's current offerings but it's pretty cool in all the years I've been on this forum, feedback on Jag Wrangler is always top flight.
