For reasons including weather and Danish taxation rules that I won't bore you with, I have one set of license plates that I share between my winter 2009 CTS-V and my summer 2007 XKR. That means that I feel like I get a new exciting car twice per year!
Every spring I'm simply amazed of how great the XKR is to drive . And now that I've moved to the country side, I have great driving roads all around me...
Mikael,
I'm so happy that you've enjoyed your XKR. I remember well the day on the Pantera forum when I suggested to you that you at least take a look at the XKR. And much to my surprise, you owned one within about 48 hours or so, if I remember correctly. I would have been upset if you hadn't had a good ownership experience as a result of my recommendation. My 2010 XKR passed 199,000 miles this week, and is still a pleasure to drive everyday. I have never had a car this good. Congratulations on your move and your car. Glad it all turned out well.
Ted
Yeah, my "Thanks Jaguar" should have been "Thanks Jaguar and Ted".
And I'm glad your rocket is still going strong, just I assume on good maintenance...
I'm also quite lucky with the local club life, the Jaguar club is probably the best run in the country, 1000+ members, 6 48 page magazines per year and 15-20 gettogethers per year.
