Default OBD Drive Cycle for Secondary Air System

Two years ago, I couldn't get my 2009 XJ to complete the internal OBD check for the Secondary Air System; and then one day, it magically completed. Now, I'm battling the same issue with my 2007 XK. There was a fuel pressure sensor problem, which I fixed by replacing the sensor, and then I cleared the code. All of the six or seven systems test immediately went to Incomplete, and I then completed the recommended Drive Cycle to exercise all the systems. And then I did it again. And then I did it again. All of the systems have completed except the Secondary Air.

I've seen many posts from people indicating what they've done to complete this particular system test on their non-Jaguar vehicles, but none of them are working to cause my XK to complete the system test.

Does anyone know, specifically, under what conditions the XK computer will complete the Secondary Air System Test?

Thanks,
Doug

There are clues at least in the one for your car which is too big for me to post but looks the same as http://www.teacher.starenvirotech.co...8%202006MY.pdf

BTW found via a web search on
jaguar pdf "secondary air"

Thank you, JagV8. Of course, I've done a hundred Google searches, but that never popped. Could easily be regional differences in Google Search. I'm very thankful for it, though, as it confirmed my suspicion that, while there are specific Drive Cycles for many of the OBD tests, the Secondary Air System test doesn't appear to have a Drive Cycle sequence.

Thanks to another post on this site, I got a clue that my problem had been due to the fact that I was trying to do cause this test to run in summer in Southern California; it apparently never gets cold enough for the test to run here in the summer; even sitting overnight, the car never got below about 70 degrees in my garage. It was scheduled to hit 54 degrees early this morning, so I left the car out of the garage overnight, started it up this morning, took it for a drive, and within five minutes, the test ran. So very thankful!!
