It could be either the pressure switch on the compressor, or, the compressor itself has failed.

Welcome to the forum Enrico,

I've deleted your other post of this same question from X260 forum.

Here is the Air Conditioning test procedure from the 2011 X250 Workshop Manual:

Are you sure the R134 refrigerant charge is correct? Jaguars lose up to 10% charge weight per year.

Where did you get that info? Neither of my 9 year old Jag XF's wouldn't be blowing ice cold in the Texas summers this year if that were the case.

There's no way this is true.

Gotta agree, both my 2010 XFs were still blowing ice cold at 5 and 6 years old and neither had ever had any AC work done on them.

Same with mine at over 9 years now

AC systems are complex these days but nothing special about the Jag one. I'd take it to an AC specialist and they should be able to diagnose quickly using all the right equipment

Same here. 10 years old and still blowing ice cold. A/C systems are sealed and should not leak if they are working properly.

My ac went out. Found out it was the cooling fan not turning on and some sometimes fan running at super low speeds
