One of the problems of low production models, is dealer tech's may not have real world experience with diagnosing things common to the car.

And it won't change much by going anywhere else either unless they specialize in that model.

 

It's the same suspension design as all the other RWD jags / Fords/ Lincolns from this vintage. In fact, many of the components swap.
