Default LC 500 opinions

As obvious 2+2 fans how do we feel about the new lexus

For me i like the powertrain, configuration and that rear bulging quarter panel (reminds me of the one-77) the rest of the car doesn't do much for me

It's a Lexus, so by definition, that means it's ugly, reliable, reasonably sporty and most likely leased. It weighs 4300 lbs.!!! and has a trunk that is 5 cu. ft. I'd rather have a Buick Cascada at less than one third the price!

Yep the grill has stopped me from getting another one.

It looks interesting, I would have to see it in person to really judge the look. Yes the new Lexus "Darth Vader" grill is a bold styling queue, I have seen some in person that I was OK with but it depended on the color of the car.

What is with the cockpit and the huge grab handle on the center console? I really hate the way that looks.

So many new models (other than Lexus) are adopting the wide mouth grille styling.

Personally I don't like it.

Beautiful car however, and of course Lexus reliability and quality.

That front grill is just too ugly for my tastes. I would rather take the bus than be seen in that abomination.

I love the interior and level of fit & finish they've done to this model (from the pictures). The exterior is striking and keeps in line with Lexus design ethos. Distinctive for sure. I bet they'll hit their sales marks on this.

The giant hourglass grill on the sedans and SUVs is flat out ugly, but I think it works on the coupes.

Also not a big fan of the grill design but the rest of the exterior looks great.

That interior design is just ok IMO and that "grab handle" is also pretty odd looking.

Not much for the grab handle either. Who beyond Jag and Lexus is doing that as well?

agreed. The RC in black looks sweet - the best looking Japanese car I've seen I think.

Took a while for Acura to lose that bucktooth front end. Hopefully Lexus is near the end of this design cycle. My wifes aging ES330 will be replaced by a Hyundai Genesis if they don't get their act together. It's distinctive all right. So was Quasimodo's hump.

After watching some videos of it, the engine note/sound is amazing.

I think it'd be a fun toy to have.

I absolutely love this car. I love the profile, the crisp lines, the beautiful interior. But, my god, that grill is catastrophically ugly. Photoshop a large blur on that vulgar front end: otherwise it's just pornographically obscene!

Has anyone here driven one? I am still into them. Haven't seen one on the road. At around 100k, I can't think of a new coupe-GT that is more "it" right now.

OK so all of that aside, how does everyone feel about the front end?
