Default OEM "R" logo wheel center caps ?

This is probably a very academic question, but does jaguar make a wheel center cap with the R logo ? Which center cap was correct for my 07 xkr with the upgraded senta wheels ? I actually really like the R logo center caps that are on the car, but I'm going to say they are knock offs due to how loose they fit . Thanks

A little electrical tape on each prong will make those caps fit tighter.

Also check for hairline cracks in the clips. At least half of them on mine were cracked, but not broken, and kept falling out when I hit the bumps on the roads we have around here. Each time I was fortunate enough to notice when they escaped.
I used some super glue to fix them and they are now tight as expected and none have fallen out in years.

Plenty of "R" wheel badges around but I've never seen OEM "R" wheel badges and cannot find them in JEPC. Both Welsh Enterprises and Adamesh list "R" wheel badges but make no claim they are Jaguar OEM.

Agreed, I am 99% sure there is no such thing as OEM / factory "R" wheel caps/badges, instead the factory fitted the usual "growler" wheel caps in either black or red across the whole "R" range ie XFR, XKR, XJR and F-Type R.
I put a set of the cheap Chinese specials "R" caps on my old XFR and they held up OK (minimal sun fade) but I did need to put a wind or two of insulation tape around the mounting tangs to get them to fit reasonably tight.
By coincidence it was only two days ago I refitted the OEM red caps to my F-Type after running with cheap Chinese blue ones (with tape) for a couple of years, and the difference in quality is stark. The OEM caps are much sturdier especially the tangs, the growler and lettering are the modern type and font, and they are simply 1000% better in every way.

At this type of price I'd just buy a few sets

Shame I don't like green on my car.

Everybody knows about the OEM design "Growler" logo center caps. But do you know about the OEM design "Jaguar Heritage" center caps? They were exclusive to the North American market 2008 (black) and 2009 (red) 4.2L XKR Portfolio models.

This is a close up of what I came with my 2008 XKR Portfolio. I was tempted to change them to blue to match the paint but I think the red looks better. Another XK owner saw my car and asked why I have Chevy truck wheels with fake Jaguar centers on my car.

I think anyone that's read a thread on wheel centre's will be aware, what they may not know is the part number...so here it is C2C39745

Can be purchased on both sides of the pond.

In the UK they also had the same metal one with a black and silver union jack...part AJAM12J, there isn't an official 'Jaguar 'stars n stripes' one though

Thanks for all the replys & good info . . I actually just ordered the heritage caps from harper jaguar. Not sure why but seems like they are much cheaper than the growler's and in my opinion are very unique and look great. Think I paid under 60 bucks for the set

i didn't know either! thank you guys! this will make my admittedly tasteless and boring aftermarket wheels a little less offensive.

It appears that a previous owner swapped out the original black 2008 caps for the red 2009 caps. Your wheels are the correct 20" polished Cremonas and the Alcon Performance Brakes were standard equipment. For 2009, Alcons were a $5,000 option.

These were available 15+ years ago and were OEM, I know because I've had several Rs new from Jaguar with them fitted. But they tended to fade quickly and I don't think they've been available from Jaguar for over 10 years.

EDIT I'll concede it's been a really long time and I've not been able to locate any accessories brochures from that time or jaguar part numbers. I know the ones I had were flush to the face and didn't stick out or have a black "lip" around the outer edge. It's possible perhaps the dealer fitted them. I'll keep searching.

Those Alcon Performance Brakes are special. I wish I had them on my 2014 XKR dynamic R.
