Just an FYI here on checking the oil after a run. Over the course of the last 6 months I have been doing the wait in order to check the oil. What my times have been on my 2012 XKR is that it usually takes 10 minutes before I get the reading. As I mentioned I usually check the oil level prior to starting the car along with my coolant. This is a pre-check and usually followed after the run. So now if I use the car 3-5 times during the week I don't need to do a daily check. So in another month it will start to be cruise time here in the NE. Until then for those with a 12 month drive season enjoy but for us it's almost top down season.
